The Grit "Story Section" was originally issued weekly as part of the Grit newspaper. Fiction stories by Alan Le May, Zane Grey, Maysie Greig, Allan F. Herdman, Gladys I. Hamilton, and comic strips Bringing Up Father by George McManus and The Bungle Family by H. J. Tuthill (one page each), plus a page of poems. 8 1/2-in. x 11 1/2-in., 32 pages, black and white text with illustrations.
