Description: Gullah sweetgrass handled basket in need of repair. This basket has an unusual handle and is quite attractive and has much life left in it if repaired. It is approx 11 1/2" tall (to top of handle). The diameter is 8 1/4". We have shown areas that need to be repaired in the photos. It is in good condition except for the specific areas requiring repair. We are not basket makers but to the untrained eye....it does not look like repairs would be overwhelming. There is a slight area of discoloration on the bottom of the inside (shown in photos #13), however, if it almost difficult to detect and would not be seen if the basket were showcased with something in it. Please view photos carefully (zoom, as need) as part of description. Listed shipping cost is CONUS....shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico might need to be adjusted at time of purchase to cover only the additional ACTUAL cost of shipping.
