Description: 1960’s Guyatone HG-92 Lap Steel. This one has a pickup that screams…brand new set of strings on her 7/10/24 . The electronics were cleaned and working great.No wonder people are paying so much for these. Unfortunately for the collector, this one has 2 main issues.1) They planned the back of the headstock to make it fit better upgraded tuners…ouch see pics2) Then the cracked the top of the plastic nut a little and put a metal nut in with some nails to hold the strings better. Ok get past that and put a new nut in and you have a $475 lap steel as all other functions work perfectly fine. I guess this one is for the player.
