Description: Gymnocalycium pflanzii for sale here. Plant is in 4 inch pot with a single stem that is over 3 inch in diameter and high. G. pflanzii is a large, usually unbranched, with flat to globose depressed stem, up to 6 inch in width, grey-green to light green, sometimes bronzed in full sun, spines 7-10, redish-brown to gray, with dark tips, adpressed, somewhat curved backward, short, up to an inch long. Infundibuliform flowers appearing near the apex, diameter and height up to 2 inch, white with carmine/pink purplish throat. Fruits are globose of approximately 3/4 inch in diameter, becoming red carmine with maturity. Originally from South-east of Bolivia(Cochabamba, Chuquisaca, Potosí, Santa Cruz and Tarija).Plant ships bare root. USA and her territories ONLY.
