The gel absorbs moisture from cabinet contents and is automatically regenerated, cyclically, maintaining a 30 to 40% relative humidity. A green light turns on for the drying cycle for a 4 1 / 2 hr. absorbtion period, and a red light turns on, indicating 1 / 2 hr. regeneration of the desiccant.
