HAGSTROM '67 VIKING II HOLLOW BODY GLOSS BLACK, Int'l Buyer Welcome

Description: Hollowbody Electric Guitar with Flame Maple Body, Maple Neck, Resinator Fretboard and Two Mini Humbuckers The Hagstrom ’67 Viking II is a hollowbody guitar made for players who want something left of center, but completely classic at the same time. Of course, Hagstrom is no hidden secret—the company has a history of impressing rock royalty, with the king of rock, dancing queens, thin white dukes and more turning to its style and sounds. We're particularly impressed by the Viking's versatile mini humbuckers, and struck by its flame maple construction. If you're jonesing for a hollowbody, or backing a second guitarist who plays a solidbody, the Viking II is a can't-miss instrument that checks many boxes. Hagstrom Viking II Hollow Body Click images to enlarge Description   About this guitar: This guitar came to my supplier directly from Hagstrom, it has never been sold retail, the protective covers are still on the pick guard, the back of the tuners and the back plate.  The protective cushion is still under the bridge also, that is placed there for protection during shipping.  It was tested by a team of factory technicians, all electronics are working as designed, the neck is straight, the frets are level, and there are no cracks or dings on the body.  When we polished the guitar we did not find any blemishes, however being a black finish you may find a light one here or there depending on how the light hits it.  Any such blemish would be too light for anyone to see when you are playing, Here is what Hagstrom says about the Viking II:   Hollowbody Electric Guitar with Flame Maple Body, Maple Neck, Resinator Fretboard and Two Mini Humbuckers

The Hagstrom ’67 Viking II is a hollowbody guitar made for players who want something left of center, but completely classic at the same time.

Five-ply flame maple construction

Although Hagstrom started out in Sweden, the company turned to Canada to supply the maple for the body. Lighter color finish choices reveal the full flame, but whichever you pick, you'll hear the difference. Notes pop off the top, even when played acoustically. Body binding defines the sleek silhouette; the double-cutaway design gives fast fingers room to roam at the guitar's highest registers. The maple neck is remarkably thin, but still completely solid, making it perfect for smaller hands or precise pickers. The fretboard radius is a flat 15", so head up the neck and bend a major 3rd or more—you won't fret out.

Mini Humbuckers, Many Sounds

The H-52s spec'd in the Viking II will bring you back to the golden age of rock; they'll also nail everything from funk to punk. These pickups have that classic humbucker punch, but the new design adds coil splitting to your arsenal. Whether you play clean or crunchy, raucous or refined, there's enough sonic variation here to please everyone's ears.

Hardware That Glitters in Gold

We're suckers for the old-school trappings of a trapeze tailpiece and the wood base of a tune-o-matic bridge. Although intonating a hollowbody can sometimes be tricky, the long-throw saddles give you plenty of room to adjust the string length. Gold hardware gives the Viking II some flash that will look great under stage lights. Other features include a Resinator fingerboard with pearloid block inlays, a Graph Tech TUSQ nut and 18:1 ratio tuners. A hardshell case or gig bag is available separately.

Who refurbishes your instruments?  All of my instruments come from the largest and best refurbisher in the country, where any issue found is corrected by a factory trained and authorized luthier. Does a refurbished instrument have the manufacturer warranty?  No, any instrument sent to a refurbisher, regardless of the reason it was sent there, no longer carries the manufacturer warranty. Will I need to set up my instrument when I receive it?  All of my instruments have been set-up before shipping, so most are ready to play out of the box.  However some instruments may need a minor adjustment after shipping due to changes in temperature, humidity, and  getting bumped around during shipping.  Also some players like to set up a new guitar to their own personal preferences. What identifies an instrument as being refurbished?  Most refurbished instruments have a small used stamp on the back of the head stock and are issued a new serial number.  This is to prevent an unethical dealer from concealing the fact that the instrument was sent to a refurbisher.   Payment I require payment within 1 day. I prefer PayPal. If you have no feedback rating, contact me first before bidding, this is necessary because many times folks with no feedback buy and then do not pay. Shipping I pride myself on shipping the day the auction ends or the next business day at the latest. Shipping is generally through FedEx or USPS. Expedited shipping is available at extra cost. Contact me directly for an expedited shipping quote. Quoted shipping is for the lower US only, for shipping to Alaska, Hawaii and international email me for rates. Terms of Sale Unless otherwise stated, we accept returns within 14 days of delivery. Email first for return authorization. Buyer pays return shipping and insurance. All items must be in the same condition as when they were sold, and returned in the original packing. About Us I have been playing guitar for over 50 years.
