Hagstrom Viking V1 Semi-hollow body guitar '65 orig case excellent

Description: This 1965 Hagstrom Viking was one of the first 1000 made and in the first year. The famous fast playing neck is due to the 60’s slim neck and low frets. This one has practically no wear at all on the first few frets and then none after that. The guitar received a pro setup and totally cleaned and plays and sounds great! Al Casey played a Viking II in the orchestra and was asked by producer Bones Howe if Elvis could borrow the guitar for the appearance. According to Elvis's drummer Hal Blaine it was considered a lucky charm by Elvis. To take advantage of this Hagström used pictures of Elvis with the Viking in ads until Elvis's manager advised them not to.
