It has been safely stored for last 2 months since I got it NEW & SEALED. HISTORY: About 2 months ago, the company I work for gave these to some of the employees as part of their BONUS PACKAGE for achieving a certain level of success. As luck would have it, I already have something very similar from a different brand name, and did not need this item. Because it was part of my earned bonus, I could not bring myself to toss it aside and forget about it, and so I hoped maybe someone out there might like to try it and see how they like it. A co-worker who is across the hall from me uses hers daily. She paired it to her phone and she plays music all day with it. I have listened and it sounds about as good as any modern day stereo radio does. She plays it low so as not to disturb others so I can not attest to how loud the bass is or specifics like that. She plays it all morning, and when she leaves her office for 30 minute lunch break, she takes her phone with her, and plugs this speaker in to charge it. When she's back from lunch, she plays music all afternoon. She's never mentioned that it runs out of juice before the day ends. Once thing I noticed which I did not find in the on-line comments while looking up this item, so it probably states it in the instructions which I can not see because I left it FACTORY SEALED for you. One day she got stuck away from her office for a few hours while her music was still playing thru this speaker. I started hearing a "twerp" once about every 2 minutes from her office. It was coming from this speaker on her desk. Sounded like a quiet smoke detector when the battery is dying. She actually arrived back to her desk right then and told me that the speaker will do that to warn that the charge is getting low and it needs to be recharged.
