Description: This is a 1940 Hamilton Wilshire with an original dial. The case shows no signs of brassing and it comes on a brown shorty Hamilton embossed pigskin strap and gold tone buckle. This watch was restored by vintage watch legend Glen Butler and fitted with a Hamilton Wilshire glass crystal. The movement is the robust 982 19J running well and keeping good time with original gold crown. A truly great Hamilton and piece of wearable Americana. As I have over 20 other vintage Hamiltons I am parting with this one. See photos for condition.
