Description: Here is an nice Hampshire Pottery low vase with a water lily and wave design covered in their trademark matte green glaze which thins at the decoration. Marked Hampshire Pottery with the in the mold mark, and the M in a circle for Emoretta Robertson and what looks like a crown. Shape number 005 in the catalog. It measures about 2 inches high and 5 3/4 inches in diameter at the widest. There was a 1" area of glaze loss inside which has been filled in and is not noticeable. It is in otherwise great condition with no chips, cracks, or firing flaws. Made in Keene New Hampshire this pottery was influenced by the Grueby Pottery in nearby Boston.
