Description: I ship internationally with ebay International Shipping only. For Alaska and Hawaii please contact me for a shipping estimate.A work of art this hand painted dessert set for 7 made of a cake tray and seven plates. The tray is signed on the front by the well known artist OSBORNE, who had an artstudio in Chicago from 1910 to 1973.Osborne did not use a back stamp on many of his pieces and this is an example. From the other marks and from the style we can say that this set is about one hundred years old or more, ca.1910-1919.Each piece is decorated with small roses and green foliage on a pastel background. The edges are gilded. The porcelain is fine and translucent. The tray is marked BAVARIA, while the plates are marked MZ AUSTRIA. They also have the mark of the LINGQUIST ART SHOP of Chicago, ca.1915-1917.Each dessert plate is 8" in diameter. The tray is 10 1/8" by 9 3/8" wide. The set is in excellent antique condition with no cracks, chips nor repairs. Some roughness is noticeable on the foot of the plates. Minimum wear and discoloration as seen in the pictures.A beautiful set to display on your cabinet or your table. Please see my other items for more hand painted pieces.Payment in 3 days. Thank you.California residents usually have a shipping adjustment.
