Each has been sealed with a protective finish to protect from liquids and make them usable with hot beverages. All coasters come with a cork backing. Coasters are 4.25”x4.25”. Can also be used as art if placed on a small easel. The coasters are waterproof on the surface. They can easily be wiped down to be cleaned. I do not recommend submerging them in water.
