Description: This stunning table lamp is actually a stained glass work of art featuring an elephant. The stained glass scene wraps all around the 3-sided lamp. Two sides feature half the elephant, so when viewed from the corner, you see the whole elephant. The half elephant on the left is in front of a tree, which continues on the 3rd side of the lamp. In the background are fileds of grass and the blue sky. In Western art, elephants symbolize strength, nobility, dignity, passion, wisdom, and spirituality. I'm not a stained glass expert, but I've sold a lot of fine art over the years, and this looks like an original stained glass piece to me. In fact, I researched the lamp for days and found nothing like it at all. Not even close. So I believe it's an authentic and original work. And it's just fabulous! In Excellent Pre-Owned Condition with no chips, cracks or damage of any kind. Currently has a CFL lamp inside, which works great. It turns on and off with an inline switch in the power cord.
