Founded in 1891, the school name was changed from Simmons University to Hardin-Simmons University in 1934. Pictured is the President's House, Abilene Hall, which burned down in 1947, and Cowboy Stadium where the Hardin Simmons Cowboys played until 1964 when football was disbanded until 1990.
