Description: For your consideration is a large footed bowl made by Harding Black in 1945. It measures approximately 9-1/4" in diameter by 3" in height and has an absolutely blue crackle, dripped glaze. I love how this glaze reveals the raw clay body accentuated by the foot. It's one of the nicer bowls that I have seen from him. If you do not have any of his pieces, or are newer to him, he is a must have for any collector. And this is a exemplary piece given it's form and glaze. I am a pottery collector with a particular focus on California and mid-century. All of my pieces are in unblemished condition (no chips, cracks or repairs) and all of it comes from reputable and documented sources. I am selling a small part of my collection - but if you're looking for something in particular, please let me know since I might have it. Thanks for looking and please let me know if you have any questions.
