Description: Harley JD 4 Lobe Cam, New Reproduction, 1915-1929This is a brand new exact reproduction of the 4 lobe cam used in all 1917-1929 J, JD, JL, JDL, F, FD, JDCA,, FDCA, JDCB, and FDCB engines. It can also be used in 1915 and 1916 twin engines if the correct cam followers are used. Good, usable original cams are getting exceptionally hard to find. Even crappy old used cams with worn lobes and chipped teeth are getting scarce. I made a run of 100 of these and they will not last long. Get one while they are here.The cam bushings are not reamed/honed to the finish size. That's up to your motor builder. This allows for a proper fit if your cam pin on the cam rack is slightly worn. The stock pin should measure 0.500". The bushing should be sized 0.0005" to 0.0010" LARGER than your motors pin. These are made on CNC equipment here in the good old USA and are professionally heat treated to the proper case depth and hardness.
