Description: This vintage cassette deck from Harman Kardon is a true gem. Made in Japan in the 1980s, this CD-291 has been thoroughly tested and is guaranteed to work flawlessly upon receipt. If I didn't have two other high end cassette decks, I wouldn't let this go, but it deserves a home where it will see regular use. It was designed and produced at the peak of cassette technology. It is in near mint condition- the heads show no sign of wear, there are no significant dings or scratches anywhere, it sounds great. It's design and specs are top of the line. Here's a quote from hifi engine: "Until recently, only the most expensive cassette decks were able to reproduce sound equal to the full range of human hearing.
