Description: This is sketch / drawing in pencil on paper of a young woman by renowned American artist, Harrison Fisher (1875-1934). I believe the drawing is that of one of his favorite subjects: Titanic survivor, Miss Dorothy Winifred Gibson (1889-1946). I'm not not sure of the date but I would say mid to mid to late 1910s, or perhaps, early 1920s. It is unframed. It is signed along with "Hollywood," as shown. The back has "45" written in pencil. That looks to have been an old price or possibly an inventory number. The paper has toning and corner dings / wear. It was cut or trimmed unevenly. There is a small spot on the front. There is possibly light smudging which I notice more on the back. The paper measures about 11.5 inches high and 8.25 inches wide. Again, it was cut unevenly. This item is from the estate of Ed Diamond of Palm Desert who operated a Hollywood Memorabilia Store until his death in the early 1990s.
