Inspired by the design of the "Littlefield Home" on the campus the University of Texas in Austin, the scene has been reimagined from a stone structure into that of a creaky old abandoned wooden Victorian home from "Anytown USA." The windows are full of ghosts, ghouls, goblins and spooks. Three little ‘trick-or-treaters’ (a wooden sword-wielding pirate, a pitch-forked devil, and a gun-totin’ cowboy) are cautiously attempting to slip past without getting caught. This is a visual treasure hunt with surprises around every corner. Viewers will note the ‘witch on a broom’ weather vane, skull-like shadow in the stone wall, screaming faces in the tree trunks and more. Created in the grand tradition of haunted places it's reminiscent of those featured in popular television and and film such as "The Addams Family, Munsters, Psycho, The Ghost and Mr. Chicken" among others. Since 1990 Randy has also been commissioned by the Walt Disney Company™ to paint their famous landmarks including their “Haunted Mansions’ which they publish and market through their galleries.
