Lots of yarn ends, woven carefully in the back (pic of back also shown).It took me a long time- 2 hours- to keep changing colors and weaving ends, so yes, the price is fair for this one-of-a-kind piece.Very nice scallop edges. Edges are a bit ruffly on this piece. RULER and props WILL NOT BE INCLUDED. YOU CAN USE IT AS A TABLE RUNNER/ TABLE MAT/ DOILY OR AS A WALL HANGING EVEN (WILL NEED TO FRAME IT/ MAYBE IN AN EMBROIDERY HOOP?), OR USE A FABRIC LINING TO MAKE IT A PILLOW . THERE IS NO BACKING OR LAYERS IN BETWEEN, IT IS JUST ONE LAYER OF worsted weight YARN, SO WILL PROBABLY NOT BE IDEAL TO PUT UNDER A CANDLE FOR LONG HOURS THOUGH.
