Description: Stunning square domed butter dish by Heisey in the Waverly design with their "OrchidEtch" pattern and horse head finial. The Waverly designed base measures about 6 1/2 inches in diameter while the domed lid measures 3 1/2 inches square and 3 1/2inches high. The condition is beautiful without any flaws except a small chip on the baseunderneath, see last two photos. This beautiful Orchid Etch pattern was introduced byHeisey in 1940 and became one of their best sellers until the company closed it's doorsin 1957.
