Hermes Enamel Bangle - La Femme aux Semelles de Vent

Description: This bangle is based upon a design created by Aline Honoré in the format of a 90cm silk twill and a 140cm cashmere/silk shawl. It was released by Hermès in the Autumn/Winter 2009 season. The design pays homage to Alexandra David-Néel (1868-1969), a French/Belgian explorer, spiritualist ,and writer, who was a true ‘femme aux semelles de vent’ (a woman with wind for her soles), and shows her trekking towards Lhasa, the capital of Tibet. I think it's one of the most beautiful Hermes scarf designs.The enamel bangle picks up on the Tibetan decorative motifs around the edge of the scarf. It's absolutely stunning on your wrist. It's in excellent, barely used condition. There are no chips in the enamel and no scratches or dents on the silver. PM size. 2.5 inches. 6.5cm. Includes an Hermes box and ribbon. There is no reason whatsoever to worry about its authenticity. I've been collecting Hermes since 2005 or so.
