Capable of handling up to 800° Fahrenheit direct heat. Common uses include: reflecting heat from the under side of motorcycle fairings, transmission tunnels and chassis protection from hot exhaust pipes or mufflers. Also great for insulating intercooler piping and the underside of hoods. Thermal Solutions high temperature silicate fiber wrap is made to handle continuous operating temperatures of 1500° Fahrenheit and intermittent temperatures of 2000°F.
