Description: Up for auction we have this Historical Staffordshire black transfer plate with a view of “Near FishKill Hudson River” by Clews. In excellent condition with no chips,cracks or repairs. Also is a nice deeper black transfer than what you normally see. It measures 10 1/2” in diameter and dates circa 1835. There is a felt and pipe cleaner holder on the back that was used to hang it on the wall but could be removed easily if you wanted.
