Description: STORIES / STORIES - Photographs by Michal Rovner. Exhibition catalog "At night, I wander through the deserted rooms of the Louvre Museum: Jordan, Syria, Palestine, the Levant, Mesopotamia, Egypt... Places and ages coexist within a few steps of each other. And suddenly I realize that I am in the heart of an unfathomable treasure - the footprints of civilization. "Michal Rovner" Stories... This is the title of Michal Rovner's exhibition at the Louvre, and none could, so deeply and rightly, resonate with the challenges of the museum. She chose to invest in three symbolic places which define for the Louvre a territory without geographical or temporal borders and which make it possible to bring together artists from neighboring nations, Israel and Palestine, for a monumental construction, combining the ancestral knowledge of the builders.
