I will send you an invoice with the new combined costs (via Ebay of course). I have been working on this KIT for a realistic CYCLONE DUST COLLECTOR to go with my newly released sawdust burner! This is no ordinary kit, mind you. The parts are printed from PLA, polylactic acid, 3-D printer filament material. Several important points here about PLA: 1) You FOLD the sides to make the shape; you don't have to hold the edges together, which makes it much easier to construct the model. Just make a few nicks with a razor, fold, glue with canopy and/or CA (or even "weld" it) and add the cyclone. Wait a minute, HOLD ON, did you say, "weld"? What? Okay, here's the dirt, or the rust, or what have you: Get yourself a Variable Temperature Soldering Iron! Way easier than soldering brass (in fact, not even a comparison), PLA in fact melts at about 200 degrees C (that's 392 F). I find that melting the PLA material (derived from CORN, not crude oil), fails to produce significant smoke and vapor during this procedure. In fact, this is so safe, that even though my studio is fully ventilated (there's ducting running everywhere!) I don't even turn on the fan. I can't SMELL a thing. Am I missing something? I use the small tip on my inexpensive ($8 ebay) variable temp iron. I make minute "welds" and truthfully it is the most expedited and accurate way of connecting the parts. I've done it both ways (glue versus weld) and the results are clear: tiny welds reduce construction time by greater than half and improve accuracy twice as much. I won't do it any other way. I follow up at least some of the "welds" with a coating of canopy glue. You could also use CA for that. I don't mess with CA as I don't like the fumes! Enough of this blabber! You've seen the photos, but how difficult is it to make? Well, did you see the video? The video shows the sequence of photos I took while I made one. So I held the cell phone and took photos while I made it. Painting is important if you want a realistic look. I won't go into detail on that, but in summary I used an inexpensive airbrush and some weathering powders. The kit includes more parts than in the photos. I like to pack as much in the box as I can, and I almost always throw in some extra parts and examples I may have lying about. The 3D printers here run night and day, so there's plenty to share. You are buying an introduction to a new way of making models altogether. Right now I'm focusing on HO scale but in the future I may go to S and O scales too. N is a bit tricky. Contact me through here if you have requests! "Be cautious with this cyclone feeder. You're crew won't be used to it and may feed the burner way too much fuel, too fast. There could be a meltdown! I've seen it, it's not pretty." -Citrus, mill supervisor, Oregon Coast Railroad Don't forget! CYCLONE goes great with the SAWDUST BURNER! :( You've known me for the quality handmade trees I've made. Now I'm stirring the pot! :) Cheers! -Rog Trees so real it looks like you ripped 'em right outta the ground!Coastmans Scenic Products (no apostrophe) is proud to say we have been offering handmade unique trees since 2011. Last year 2020 we made and sold over 800 trees and this year we expect to do even better! Our roots go all the way back to 2001 when we started out as Ramjett. We have since redesigned the Green Branch Foliage twice over. To this day we strive to create the (somewhat unattainable) Perfect Model Fir Tree. Every customer buys more than once. If you try a Coastman's, watchout! You might get hooked!
