The washer is forged into the Phillips pan head so that they one piece construction thus, the washer will rotate with the pan head when tightening or loosening. The washer thickness is .017" approx. and the washer outside diameter is .250" approx. These fasteners are straight from a vast aircraft hardware close out which were used to support light corporate aircraft service and maintenance. If you know anything about aviation hardware you will know that these are EXTREMELY HIGH QUALITY. HOWEVER BECAUSE THEY DID NOT COME WITH manufacturer's quality control certifications as required in some aviation applications they are sold at a huge discount! I use these as replacement HO Truck Screws.
