Description: Circular, undecorated white porcelain box or dish with shallow foot ring, measuring 3 1/2" dia. x 1 5/8" h, having a low-domed, gold-rimmed cover, 3 3/4" dia. x 5/8" h, bearing a colorful transfer-printed image of a bedecked Christmas tree surrounded by an assortment of gifts, including a drum, teddy bear, rocking horse and wrapped presents. At center inside cover is "Holiday Hostess / Japan" around a holly sprig. In original red cardboard box, measures 2 1/2" h x 3 7/8" l x 3 7/8" w and weighs 9.25 oz. with contents inside.
