ALWAYS pre-drill the holes for the truck screws and DO NOT overtighten. Parts usually need a little light sanding and/or filing in spots. You can use as-printed or you can prime and paint as you wish. This car underframe makes an excellent base for building custom cars. Make virtually any 18' car you can think of using this sturdy frame. DOES NOT include trucks and couplers. I recommend Micro Trains trucks with adjustable length coupler bolsters for these particular cars, but you can use any trucks you wish. When using regular trucks with attached couplers I recommend LONG SHANK couplers. They may need spacer washers between the truck and body to get the proper clearance for the wheels.
