Description: This 20 Hong Kong dollar note was introduced by the Standard Chartered Bank in 2012. It is a blue, green, purple, red, and orange note that measures 144 mm x 72 mm, is dated 1 January 2010, and is signed by Julian Fong Loong Choon and Benjamin Hung. Its obverse side features a mythical carp, an underprint with a Standard Bank logo pattern, and a 20 in SPARK. Its reverse side shows an abacus and the binary code. Security features include a magenta-to-gold windowed security thread with demetalized HK 20 and a watermark of a Bauhinia blakeana flower with an electrotype 20 on a pixelated background. It is also a superb gem uncirculated note that qualified for Paper Money Guaranty’s Exceptional Paper Quality, experienced very minor handling, and has slightly off-center margins and registration. Thus, it is graded 68 by the Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).
