Description: Proudly presented today is this exquisite Hopi Kachina doll, depicting Talavai, the Dawn Singer Kachina. Standing a mere 13 and a half inches tall, this extraordinary example was carved by the legendary Loren Honyouti of Bacavi, a carver with over 4 decades of experience. Loren has won awards at the Hopi Show, the Heard and the Inter-tribal Ceremonial in Gallup. He is one of the most recognized names in Kachina doll carving. This piece was carved in the 1990's, and so is one of his earlier pieces, and displays an amazing attention to detail. Even the base is a work of art. It was an outstanding bit of luck that put this doll into my hands, and i am able to provide it to you for MUCH less than a gallery would demand. Buy with complete confidence, for as you all know, if the buyer is unsatisfied for ANY reason, I will immediately return the full purchase price, including return shipping. This piece would look great in any Kachina doll collection; why not YOURS?. Many Thanks for your kind consideration, and as always, Best Regards, Rich
