These upright-growing plants rise higher on their stems than most other hosta I have; because of this, you can use them as a great background hosta! Because I want to ship you a very healthy plant, I water the plant's roots for one day prior to shipping. Then I place the roots in a moisture wrap and cover them with plastic to help them conserve the moisture surrounding them. These plants are so healthy, I feel 100% sure that, if watered adequately, they will produce those beautiful blue leaves for you within their first year. They propagate via the budding method, so you will find that they produce more plants on the main plant within the first year and every year thereafter. None of my plants are produced by tissue culture, so they will look more like the mother plant and grow much more quickly than tissue-cultured plants.
