The photo shows the reproduction part sitting next to an original Custom Mustang for comparison. Please be aware that the hood hinge pins are delicate and can break if forced into a tight clip. It is advisable to first coat the pins with Vaseline to make them non-stick. Then open the clip sufficiently to allow the pin to be inserted without applying pressure. Next close the clip with a small amount of super glue or epoxy while ensuring the hinge still operates properly. Users may need to perform careful filing adjustments to ensure precise hood fitting and operation. Hand polish only. Note: Hot Wheel car shown in photos is NOT INCLUDED in the auction.
