Howarth has been making fine oboes and English horns for a long while now, and this is a fine example of a great Howarth English horn. Nice wood, silver plated keys, full conservatoire system, left hand F - it is everything you need in an English horn. This one is in superb condition. There is a very minor repaired crack in the bell, but it did not go all the way through and is completely stable now. Pads and action are excellent, and this horn plays great as is.
