Description: This is an attractive, interesting piece of Brazilian and American postal history sent on July 11, 1914, from Sao Paolo, Brazil, to Haverhill, Massachusetts, U.S.A.! The sender was an H.P. Hayden, U.S. Marine Corps, Foreign Department, U.S. Consulate, Sao Paolo, Brazil! The addressee was a Miss Evelyn Meades. To continue, the red, 100-Reis Brazilian definitive is in fine condition. The green, 50-Reis Brazilian issue had all of the perfs on its right side trimmed off upon the mail's opening. At least half of the top perfs have been shortened or folded over, too. The 5, 10-Reis Brazilian definitives are all in pretty fine condition! Five of the six, "Sao Paolo, Maritime Cancels," are quite fine! Lastly, as for the envelope, itself, it's in quite good condition! It's pretty clean. There are creases here and there. The back flap is at least 95% intact. Noted imperfections aside, this remains a nifty piece of Brazilian, and American military/diplomatic postal history!
