Description: Great vintage copy of an all-time classic with illustrations by Norman Rockwell! This was printed in 1940. Includes the slipcase, which definitely has some wear on the edges. The book looks really good, solid spine, illustrations looking good! Based on information from later printings, it appears that this is a first edition of this particular version of this book and had a print run of 10,000 (printed in September of that year). I don't know if that is for the slipcase version, or all versions, but interesting information. Please ask any questions before buying. Will ship in a box for protection.
