Description: Laxa family mold measures 17 inches long, 10 inches wide and nearly 1 inch thick. Sticker on the back reads, "C-Captain-ar.1790" and stamped with the Laxa family "wax" mold impression. The more detailed side (not stamped) looks to me like a Templar knight due to the insignia, the opposite side is a more rudimentary depiction of a man on horseback. Small loss along side/front and splitting possibly from use/damage or design - I don't know. My best guess would be that the faux worm holes and veining are by design but I imagine this may have been dropped or perhaps exposed to high heat in a kitchen over time creating the cracked effect. Again, just my perception and you can decide for yourself. All other wear was created by the maker for appearance of age. One of several Laxa molds I am selling.
