Because of this, they're called "Herkimer Diamond" Quartz, or sometimes "Herkimer Quartz Diamonds." Take a look around ebay, though. There are hundreds that are 2-4cm tall. There are tons of groupings of these crystals too, 99%+ of which have been reassembled after mining. This is a singular Herkimer and it is nearly 4" in length - 9.3cm. It's... HUGE.
