Round wood base is 6.75" acrossElegant and luxurious, this is a TOP END luxury lamp hand crafted by Italian artisans around the year 1950HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE handmade, antique gold gilded wood lamp. Wood is completely hand carved and features a tall column with softly rounded indented melon-ribs and flourishesThe finish on this is what Florentine lamps were so famous for in the 1950s- spectacular speckled multi layered glazes and paints that look richly colored, mellow, and old. The gold is very rich and mellow, with some darker spots plus some rubbed areas along edges with a red undertone [deliberately created this way].Round wood base has a bottom which is covered in soft lamp felt to protect table surfaces, in excellent conditionOriginal large ornate hand carved ORIGINAL Florentine gold gilded finialOriginal heavy brass harp is includedExcellent pristine condition, works perfectly.
