Opening the hatch still required the use of two hands, which made it tricky to access the cargo area, especially with an armload of gear. This is where the EZ-Pull comes in; simply use one hand to open the rear hatch using the EZ-Pull handle, and let the EZ-Lift raise and hold your soft top hatch while you unload.
