It is the OATH the Fascists took to vow their allegiance to Mussolini when they joined the party, It is written in Latin, and says, We the Italian ppl with there blood swear allegiance to King and the party etc etc.The Plague also features the King Of Italy on the left, then the SPQR eagle and Il Duce head on the right side, is solid bronze and weights about 20 kilos. It was given to my dad by his uncle, who was a friend of Benito Mussolini during that period, he was the conductor of the Fascist military band in Rome during the war, Ive included a small photo of my uncle leading a different band after the war.
