This box set is long OOP (out of print) and incredibly rare in its current condition with the cellophane still in place. This set is NOT to be confused with the much smaller Imperial Sector set. I have added an Imperial Sector boxed set next to this item for a size comparison to show the sheer scale of the Ruined Imperial City boxed set. The Imperial Sector is not included in this sale. This set includes several smaller rare box sets inside and can be built in multiple different ways. This set can build 10 ruined Imperial City buildings (please see photos) whereas the smaller Imperial Sector only makes 4 buildings. The back of the box shows a selection of just SOME of the buildings that you can make from the contents of this set.Because this set is so rare, it’s been very hard to figure out an accurate price for it. I’ve found a set online listed in Europe as “opened and 75% complete” for £535 with £92.50 postage and another one in America listed as complete for £1,121.70 saying “this is a heavy set so postage will be expensive” (please see photos).While I would like to get the best price possible for this set I would also really like to see it go to a good home as it is an important piece of Games Workshop/Warhammer 40K history and an incredible set.
