Description: EXTREMELY RARE BURRO CREEK AGATE SPECIMEN SLAB, from Arizona, is a one-of-a-kind, large unpolished specimen slab from the famous old Burro Creek purple agate location in Arizona. This is a spectacular old stock slab from a 1940's-50's lapidary collection that has been in my possession for well over 20 years. This unique slab has flowing sections in shades of pastel pink, lavender, and grey with small irregular bands and orb-like inclusions in colors of medium to dark grey. This is a premiere collectors specimen without any fractures or chips, and I believe it would take a beautiful polish. This piece has always been a prized part of my collection, but sadly, it is time to find it a new home with someone who will treasure and appreciate it. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I am currently in the process of liquidating my personal lapidary collection, and I will be continuing to list many fine agates and jaspers from my collection over the many coming months, so check back often for some really terrific deals! 8 5/8" x 5 1/2" x 1/4" All my pieces are photographed in an indoor light booth.
