With a stunning ultramarine base. This variety of handmade German antique marble dates from between 1880 to 1920. They were not made in India, but in the traditional glass factories of Germany.Indians can have a delicate clear, tinted or coloured base glass, although some have an opaque 'maglite' appearance that only admits light from a powerful backlit source.The exterior design is rendered in using attractive textures and opaque colours; from the application of ground coloured glass lines to the surface: the hallmark of such marbles. With their sophisticated style and a range of colours from subtle to dashing, Indian marbles are collected for their character and beauty. Size: Slightly out of round.
