Description: For sale is an unusual International Silver Co. employee service award sterling tray. The tray is 12 1/8 inches long by 8 3/4 inches wide by 5/8 inch tall and weighs 472 grams. The tray handles are embossed “IS” for International Silver. It has a pre-stamped presentation inscription, with the the name “George S. Kotrys”, the date “OCTOBER 13. 1958” and “35” years filled in. The tray is marked “INTERNATIONAL / (Trademark) STERLING / W61” on the back. Condition on the tray is fair. It was very heavily tarnished and has only been partially cleaned, but could be made to look a lot better. There is no real damage. A fine bit of silver industry memorabilia.
