Description: Elecampagne is a wonderful and dramatic plant with a number of uses. I grow it primarily for its dramatic appearance in the garden but I'm told it also has a number of other uses. It has been used for thousands of years primarily for disorders of the lungs and air passages. It can cause strong reactions in people so I'd consult a doctor before brewing any concoctions out of its roots. It has also been an ingredient in Absinthe. It takes two years to put up a flower stalk. Flower stalks can be up to ten feet tall and resemble sunflowers as they are in the same family. It is an extremely hardy plant and will produce a prodigious amount of seeds so its advisable to remove flowering stalks if you do not want it to become invasive. It seems to soak up whatever water and nitrogen you will give it. This offering is for 20 seeds. I offer flat rate shipping on this and most items I sell.
