The IOTA IQ-TURBO Smart Charge Controller provides the IOTA DLS Series Charger with a powerful yet controlled voltage to help charge Flooded Lead Acid type batteries in minimal time. Perfect for batteries that are used frequently but with limited time for re-charge, such as when connected to a generator or solar panel system. The IQ-TURBO allows the DLS Charger to operate as an automatic "smart charger", delivering the benefit of an enhanced Bulk charge to replenish batteries quickly, in addition to providing Absorption, Float, and Maintenance cycles. Multi-stage charging with the IQ-TURBO increases the charging capacity of the DLS charger, decreases the charge time, and ensures a maintained and full battery charge.The IQ-TURBO continually monitors the battery at all times. If the DLS voltage remains in the Float stage for seven days, the IQ module will automatically initiate the Maintenance Cycle for a predetermined time to help maintain the battery, and then resume Float Stage charging.The IOTA IQ-TURBO Smart Charge Controller easily plugs into the Dual Voltage Jack of your IOTA DLS Battery Charger. Once plugged in, the IQ Smart Charge circuitry is automatically engaged and your IQ module will activate. Your DLS will now provide an automatic and trouble free charging profile to your Flooded Lead Acid batteries.Note: While the IQ-TURBO is designed to accommodate most Flooded Lead Acid batteries, always refer to the manufacturer's specifications for your battery's allowable charging parameters.
