Description: Ireland 1922 6p Thom Saorstat offset block of 4 Sc 52, SG 60, Hib T55 V49, V45 VF MNH This is the 6d stamp from the three line "Saorstat" series overprinted by Thom in December-January, 1922-1923, Scott 52, SG 60, Hib T55. It is a mint never hinged block of 4 with a strong offse of the overprint on the back (Hib V49). The bottom right stamp also shows a dropped last 2 in 1922 (Hib V45). The Hibernian Catalogue indicates a premium multiplier of 3x for the offset and 2x for the dropped 2. The bottom two stamps show a slight toning. The 2024 Scott catalog value for MNH singles is $6.50 each, or $26.00 for 4. The 3x multiplier makes $78.00 plus $6.50 more for the dropped 2 comes to $84.50. Very nicely centered block. The stamps you see in the scan are the exact stamps you will receive. Stamps will be sent USPS first class mail with stiffeners to protect stamp.
