Description: Vintage Italian blown glass bird with forked tail figurine. The figurine is clear glass shaded to smoke grey and is perched on a hand carved alabaster base. The original sticker on the bottom is intact and reads “Genuine Alabaster, hand carved, Made in Italy.” The figurine and base are in very good vintage condition – no chips, no cracks, no repairs. There is one rough spot on the beak, visible on close inspection. The figurine is 5 ½ inches long, chest to tail and 5 ¾ inches high. We are a charitable organization seller and as such, we recycle our packing materials as much as possible. In addition, we attempt to describe our donated articles as completely and accurately as we can. In most cases we are unable to provide provenance. Also, we package our items extremely well and cannot guarantee no breakage through shipping fragile items. Thank you for supporting our store.
