Description: This is an original Italian military issue plastic buttstock oiler for the M1 Garand and later the BM59. Italy was initially supplied with M1 rifles by the US government, and then they began making the rifles on their own. The Italians also started making accessories for the M1 and BM-59, including the buttstock oiler. The Italian version has an oil compartment with dropper; storage compartment for the brush & pull through (both of which are included with this auction); and a removable grease pot. I don't believe the oiler, pull through or brush have ever been used, but I'm still calling them "used". Also included is an unissued USGI 1970's vintage grease pot. The parts you see are representative of the condition of the parts you will receive.
